philips customer service is extremely bad. I tried to reach customer service for repair of my steam iron which was under warranty however, the ink on the invoice i had, had faded away. The customer service people completely shirked of their responsibility and said they cant do anything. I asked them to trace my purchase, to which they refused and said nothing can be done.
Philps was once a great company, and had excellent products. Today having spent 3 days, they have given up on creating anything and now buy cheap products and place their names on it. Their main website has a broken email address for support. Their only form of support is via email (broken) and a phone number that is only open 9-5 Mon-Fri.
If you plan to buy a cheap product and don't care about warranty or support go for it. I'm sure it won't be bad. If however you need software updates or warranty support then stay away. They have chose to segregate each country so support is not global. If a product is not sold in your country then you can not get support in any format include their website. Registering a product means nothing. The only response I have been able to get is via the *******@philipscare account, the main tweet account will not reply. Their response has been not my country can't help. They also take no responsibility that their website is broken and so is the search which returns all products in just their USA catelog.
Again if you want support or expect warrant, avoid Philips, they have clearly given up.
I bought the philips programmable gaming mouse, but they don't supply the software a all so the features can't be used. This also indicates that they didn't product but just stick their logo on it.

Tried to order Philips Sonicare C-1 toothbrush heads on their own web site shown at $14.95 reduced from $29.99, but when I placed the item in my cart the price changed to $29.99. Called customer service and a foreign voice told me sorry but $29.99 is the price and hung up. I then tried to chat with customer service,, but after a message that someone was on with me, no response. Then, I called back, explained the issue and asked for a supervisor. I was put on hold and then hung up on. Called again and asked for a supervisor and was transferred to a busy line! Each time I maintained my cool and was very polite. I have never experienced such incompetence! Plus, the refusal to sell a product at the price their own web site clearly offers it is just the height of corporate disconnectedness. I think I'll just trash my sonicare and buy another brand rather that support such a company! You would do well to avoid Philips as well.
Phillips should stop using UPS as a delivery service. They've held my item in the UK warehouse for five days and when I tried to track it I get messages like "awaiting instructions "which is complete rubbish the only instructions are "deliver the item "I am still waiting.
The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I bought a toothbrush replenishment subscription from their Sonicare line. The first one was sent, no problems. However when the next one was supposed to be sent, I was charged but almost a month goes by no replacement sent. I've called, live chat, emailed, social media to ask what happened since they failed to let me know. But they kept saying 3-5 business days a representative will contact me. Never happened. I cancelled my subscription & now have been trying to get a refund these past few weeks.
Do not buy or trust the Philips company. They steal your money and never reach out to you. If I dont get my money back is there a way to sue this company. Seems like a lot of people have the same/similar experiences.
I have spent hundreds of pounds on the Philips toothbrush range - I contacted them today as my electric toothbrush has suddenly stopped working. I have only had it for around 2 years (a short time in light of the price tag!) - when I asked them to please help rectify the issue and explained my disappointment, the best they could do was ‘sorry to disappoint, enjoy the rest of your day’.
Shocking, from such an apparently reputable company. Will definitely be going back to Oral B and steering from Philips products in general from now!
I was speechless, when I saw how many bad reviews philips has got on here. My experience with the brand has always been 5*. All family uses Philips toothbrushes and even though, the two I have had broke within less than two years, I always got a replacement. It was the easiest, pain-free process ever. You just go on website, input the model number, say in a few words what's wrong with the item and within 2 days a new toothbrush is delivered to your address. Does it get any better? Well I don't think so!
I purchased one of the new subscriptions for a Philips sonicare toothbrush. I was charged on the 8th and bank processed payment on Dec 9th. I never received a confirmation email of any sort. I reached out via chat, phone, email. All dead ends saying someone will get back to me in 3-5 business days. The only response I got was asking me to provide an order number, after clearly stating the email confirmation was never received. I have yet to hear back at this point. I am a patient person and do not like to do this. This is maybe my 2nd or 3rd negative review ever. I don’t take the time to bash a company over one negative experience. However, this is dragging out far too long and I am hoping this helps me get a resolution. I am in customer service and have been for years. Sending a customer a macro stating they will hear back in 3-5 business days is a joke, and then not following up is even worse. Simply put, just do better.
Last Phillips product
Headsets 6 months old and earpads already peeling.
Thank you for your patience while we processed your warranty claim.
Unfortunately, your claim has not been approved. The reason for this is that your device was deemed to have been damaged by use, force or negligence, hence it is not covered by warranty.
To replace the earpads you can contact our fellow company Encompass that provides us with replacement.
Or you can also purchase it with famous online shops by typing the model number and replacement earpads.
Unfortunately, this is the very worst customer service for returns. On Nov 23rd I purchased some electric shaver heads - these heads were supposed to fit my razor as determined by Phillips. I received the heads and they did not fit. I contacted Phillips using their 866-309-3263 phone number. I was on hold for about 5 minutes the first time, then the agent told me it was not her department and she would connect me. I was put on hold again and then disconnected. I redialed and was again put on hold for about 30 minutes. I hung up and redialed again - this time only on hold for about 3 minutes and talked to a very polite and helpful agent. He told me I had to go to phillipsmoneyback.com . When arriving at that site it wanted me to complete a lengthy form, submit it and wait for email. Before being able to even get to the refund they told me I had to wait for a total of 3 emails. THEN my request for refund would had to be approved. If approved then I would receive my refund in 6 to 8 weeks. That was just to refund to the credit card I used to purchase. This was soooo cumbersome, I finally just gave up and wrote off the purchase price. Oh one more thing, they wanted ME to pay the shipping costs. My recommendation, NEVER buy anything from Phillips that you even think you might have to return.
Extremely disappointed. Only lasted just over a year and when I contacted Philips they won’t even take the product in to look at it. It has cracked on the bottom so they say it is no longer on warranty despite this being a manufacturing fault
Amazing picture and color quality all spectrum of color, especially with the whitest whites and blackest blacks. Have had the TV for a year and a half now and love everything about it!

Bought a "programmable computer mouse". Philips doesn't provide the software to actually program it. So in essence I paid for a 5 button mouse but I can only really use 3 as per a standard $5 mouse. The product is built pretty shoddy. It has glowing lights which just highlight all the misalignment. This is made at the same quality as a $5 mouse but they charge $40. It was no weight to it either. When I tried to contact philips their email address was broken. Their twitter account responds but only under philips care, no other of their thousand account respond. Their website a collection of websites put together because their isolating each country for each other as if this was the 1990's. How their still in business is amazing? If your buying a cheap disposable product by all means choose philips. If you want the product to last and have a warranty then avoid. They have no care for their customers and after sales support is a big joke. If you really have no choice, get a 3rd party after sales warranty. Avoid computer related items at all costs.
